Hey guys! We are coming to you with a big announcement of a new product we have been working on the last few months alongside our Guatemalan staff and our female artisan partners. We are trying to send a message that you can be both feminine, strong, and make a change. So we decided to add a little bit of a modern revolutionary design element to it- check it out!
Introducing our GODDESS TOTE BAGS available in three unique designs all carefully hand-embroidered by our weaving cooperative in Chontalá. These Goddess Totes are made out of 100% sustainably sourced cotton and elaborated with 100% Egyptian cotton thread. This embroidery style uses a traditional technique with intricate needlework taking up to one or two days to complete.

This design was inspired by YOU and our entire conscious community of beautiful strong women who love Guatemala, slow fashion, textiles, human rights and Spanglish. We hope you appreciate these designs as much as we do and embrace the message behind each one.
While we LOVE sourcing traditional textiles. We also want to help women weavers directly and preserve their talents. Manuela and the women in her cooperative in the village of Chontalá worked on these beautifully newly embroidered Goddess Tote Bags. We are super grateful for the amazing work and creativity from the women's weaving cooperative in Chontalá. Not only did they hand-stitch these AWESOME tote bags, but they also make the hand-embroidered faces masks (that we are obsessed with) and beautiful floral straps!
