Do you have a storefront in Guatemala?

 Sorry! At the moment we do not have a store open to the public in Guatemala.

How much is shipping?

≫ We offer Free Shipping to the USA on orders over $100 and free global shipping on orders over $250. Additional shipping rates can be found below.

When will my order arrive?

All orders placed between November 1, 2024 - December 15, 2024 will ship on December 16th from New Jersey for Christmas delivery. If you need your order before Christmas eve, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. At this time, we cannot guarantee a Christmas delivery for international orders.

This holiday shop features an extremely unique sample sale, please read individual product descriptions carefully for policy and terms. 

Do you ship internationally? What is the customs process?

≫ We do ship internationally! And remember, we offer free international shipping on orders over $250.  

≫ International customers are responsible for all custom paperwork or duty fees within their own countries. We typically declare packages at $5-$10 values to avoid any additional import taxes.

Where is my package coming from?

≫ We operate between Guatemala and New Jersey meaning, your Hiptipico purchase may be traveling a long way to reach your doorstep. Leave a note at checkout if you have a tight deadline for receiving your package and we will do our best to accommodate!

Can I get my order faster?

If you need your order before Christmas eve, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. At this time, we cannot guarantee a delivery time for international orders.

How does the custom order process work?

What size bag is best for me?

We offer 3 great sizes of convertible bags perfect for every occasion:

Mini, Medium and Large

Mini and medium sized bags are perfect for everyday use while our large size functions as the perfect weekender or travel bag! Bag dimensions are included in each product description but if you have any doubts on the right size for you, feel free to email us info@hiptipico.com

Will Hiptipico camera straps support my professional camera equipment?

ALL of our straps are handmade and are designed to be fashion accessories. Our artisan partners do not specialize in professional camera gear.

We do offer more heavy duty hardware options that will securely fasten and keep your expensive camera gear more safe! Again, use at your own risk. Hiptipico is not a camera company and is not responsible for any faulty pieces.

Heavy duty clip options are currently not available for exchanges or custom orders. But stay tuned!

My camera strap does not fit on my camera.

Every camera is different! Which is why we offer different connection rings to make attaching our straps to your camera more seamless!

I ordered the wrong product - can I cancel or exchange my order?

All sales are final so please read product descriptions and review product photos carefully. That being said, we do understand mistakes happen. If you’ve made a mistake on your order, please contact us immediately ≫ info@hiptipico.com. If your order has not already been processed we will do our best to help you with an exchange.

I received the wrong product! How do I go about a return and when can I expect my order?

≫ We are so sorry about the mix-up! We are human too and especially as a small team with a lot of tasks, mistakes happen. Please email us at info@hiptipico.com so we can begin re-processing your order immediately. Delivery times will depend on whether the product is in stock or made-to-order.

I changed my mind - can I exchange for a different product?

≫ If you’ve had a change of heart, please contact us immediately ≫ info@hiptipico.com. If your order has not already been processed we will do our best to help you with an exchange.

I received my product and am unhappy with my purchase. Can I get a refund?

All sales are final. If you are completely unsatisfied with your product, please contact us at info@hiptipico.com.

I received my product and it looks different from the photo. Can I return it?

≫ We do not accept returns or exchanges. Every Hiptipico product is handmade by artisans which produces one-of-a-kind variations. This makes them uniquely charming and distinct from factory-made accessories.

All Sales are Final. Be sure to read each product description carefully before placing your order, this will state if you are receiving the exact product pictured or one similar. Feel free to leave a note at checkout if there is a particular color or pattern that you are interested in. We do our best to accommodate each and every request! Due to the amount of care and time put into each individual order, we cannot accept returns at this time.

My product arrived and it is damaged. How do I go about an exchange?

≫ We are happy to work out an exchange for damaged goods or wrong sizes. Please email us with details at info@hiptipico.com so we can begin processing an exchange ASAP.

My package never arrived or I never received my item. What can I do?

≫ We know this can be frustrating! We provide a tracking number with each order and are happy to help follow up with the courier. However, Hiptipico is not responsible for lost or missing packages and we cannot replace items once a tracking number is provided.

 

My coupon expired! Can I still use it?

≫ We cannot honor coupon codes that are no longer valid. Our coupons can change frequently as we change promotions. We hold numerous sales with discount codes offering 10% - 50% off throughout the year so be sure to sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about sales!

How should I clean my Hiptipico product?

≫ For leather stains, do not spot-clean or rub. We use 100% natural, unprocessed leather, and slight discoloration is part of the beauty of these items. To shine up your leather after natural wear-and-tear, we recommend polishing it with natural oil.

≫ For any fabric stains, hand-wash with gentle soap.

My vintage product has a loose thread. What should I do?

≫ Due to the handmade nature of our products, loose threads are common - yet harmless. Do not pull loose threads. We recommend using scissors to cut away any loose strings cleanly.

Do you carry vegan leather products?

≫ YES! We restock vegan products every month. Also, many of our items can be custom made using a vegan, synthetic leather alternative! Just email us (info@hiptipico.com) and allow additional processing time.

Do you still carry shoes?

How much of what I pay is actually going to the artisan who made my product?

≫ Offering fair wages and above adequate price per item is of utmost important to us. In order to ensure fair earnings, we allow our artisans to set their own prices. We ensure all of our artisan partners have received training and support around budgeting for raw materials and pricing appropriately their hourly salary that exceed the local minimum wage. Our individual artisans exercise control in determining the piece rate, and our cooperatives are worker-owned organizations that share the profits as a collective.

I am a wholesale buyer, can I use the coupon code?

≫ Unfortunately no. Our wholesale and sourcing pages are already heavily discounted for bulk.

My non-profit is having a fundraiser, can you donate a product to auction off?

≫ We appreciate your desire to include us in your cause! Unfortunately, we have select non-profits we already support through in-kind donations including: Cooperative for Education and Access Education both working to provide high quality schooling to indigenous children. Best of luck with your event!

I'm interested in sourcing from artisans or producing in Guatemala. Can you help me?

≫ Hiptipico founder Alyssa has years of experience working with artisans and textiles in Guatemala. She now acts as the liaison for many brands looking to source products ethically from Guatemala.
