When will my order arrive?
Because we operate out of Guatemala, your Hiptipico purchase may be traveling a long way to your doorstep. Before ordering, please make sure to carefully read product descriptions to clearly understand processing and transit time. Shipping + processing times are noted below. Leave a note at checkout if you have a tight deadline for receiving your package.
Domestic Stock ≫ In stock in our US-based warehouse and delivery is approximately 7 - 10 days.
Guatemalan Stock ≫ In stock at our HQ in Guatemala and delivery is approximately 14 - 21 days.
Guatemalan 10 Day Processing ≫ Made-to-order in Guatemala and delivery is approximately 4 weeks.
Made-to-Order 6 Weeks Processing ≫ 100% custom made to your liking and delivery is approximately 6 weeks.
Please allow for additional time for international orders.
Do you ship internationally? Can you declare the package as a gift for customs?
We do ship internationally! We offer free international shipping on orders over $200. Below that, our flat rates are as follows:
Rest of World:
International customers are responsible for all custom/duty fees within their own countries. We typically declare packages as "Gifts" of $15 value. If you need us to make other accommodations, please leave a note at checkout or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
I need my order ASAP! Can I expedite shipping?
Express Shipping from Guatemala is available for an additional $100. Please allow approximately 3-5 business days to arrive (sometimes more for Asia). Email email@example.com
I live in Guatemala and want to order from your site - can you help me?
Yes! We have special pricing for our Guatemalan customers as shipping costs are much lower. Please email us with the products you're interested in and we can process your order via Paypal or Venmo. (Se habla español!)
I received my product and it looks different from the photo. Can I return it?
Every Hiptipico product is handmade by artisans which produces one-of-a-kind variations. This makes them uniquely charming and distinct from factory-made accessories.
Variation is displayed in the product images. Be sure to scroll through before placing your order as all sales are final. If there is a particular color or pattern that you are interested in, be sure to leave a note at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your request! Due to the amount of care and time put into each order, we cannot accept returns at this time.
My bag arrived and it is damaged. How do I go about an exchange?
We are so sorry the product you received is not up to our standards! Please email us with details at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can begin processing an exchange ASAP.
I received the wrong product! How do I go about a return and when can I expect my order?
We are so sorry about the mix-up! Please email us at email@example.com so we can begin re-processing your order immediately. Delivery times will depend on whether the product is in stock or made-to-order. See above for more information.
How should I clean my Hiptipico product?
For leather stains, do not spot-clean or rub. We use 100% natural, unprocessed leather, and slight discoloration is part of the beauty of these items. To shine up your leather after natural wear-and-tear, we recommend polishing it with natural oil.
For any fabric stains, hand-wash with gentle soap.
My vintage product has a loose thread. What should I do?
Due to the handmade nature of our products, loose threads are common yet harmless. Do not pull loose threads. We recommend using scissors to cut away any loose strings cleanly.
Do you carry vegan leather products?
All of our bags can be made using a vegan, synthetic leather alternative! Just email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and allow additional processing time. Shop in-stock styles.
What shoe size should I order?
Our shoes run true to size. If you're in between sizes, order down for our leather styles, as the leather will stretch to a comfortable fit. See the sizing conversion chart below for help with European sizes.
Can I order custom wide-width shoes?
Since our shoes are genuine leather, they generally stretch to comfortably fit any foot. Our artisan shoemaker uses pre-made molds to construct the shoes and unfortunately cannot accommodate custom widths.
I love my shoes but they don't fit! Can I exchange them for a different size?
We recommend that our leather shoes and sandals feel a bit snug upon the first fitting, as they will stretch out with wear. Wearing them with thin socks around the house for a few days usually stretch them out to a comfortable fit. If they are more than a bit snug and you think there's been a mistake, please email us at email@example.com
