Alyssa's Michelada Recipe

Hiptipico's Founder Alyssa is the Michelada Guru. She has tried almost all of the restaurants and bars around Lake Atitlan, only to find that her personal recipe is (of course) the best.

What you need [spanglish]
  • Limes
  • Cerveza
  • Salsa Inglesa
  • Picante
  • Veggie or Tomato Juice
  • Salt and Pepper

 

How to make the perfect michelada  ⁛
  1. Squeeze the limes to fill the bottom of the cup
  2. Add a few squirts of Salsa Inglesa to taste
  3. Add a few squirts of Picante to taste
  4. 2 pinches of salt
  5. 5 grinds of pepper
  6. Fill cup halfway with juice
  7. Top off with a full beer [or add rest of beer as you drink]
  8. Stir and Enjoy

  • salt the rim

  • substitute clamata juice
