Must-have leather flats with a cute summery feel, named after the busy main street of our hometown, Panajachel, Guatemala. Woven rainbow upper gives a fresh pop of color. Made by our skilled leather artisans in small home workshops. Supplying fair wages to workers and using the traditional hand-stitching method.

Our Santander Flats are a loyal fair-weather shoe that will go wherever you do. Cushy, textured sole. Quality leather construction and beautiful woven details. Visit here for size conversion. * Runs slightly small - suggested to order one size up. We do not accept returns or exchanges if purchased with a coupon code.

Every pair of Hiptipico flats is handmade by Maya artisans which produces one-of-a-kind variations. This makes them uniquely charming and distinct from factory-made accessories.

Give Back: Your purchase provides a dignified job opportunity to indigenous artisans in rural Guatemala, aiding in their quest to escape poverty.

Zoila

Origin: San Andrés Semetabaj

Ethnicity: Maya Kaqchiquel

Zoila grew up the small town of San Andres, just up the mountainside from Panajachel and her husband is originally from a village 6 hours away called Todos Santos. They eventually met in Panajachel when Julian moved to the tourist town to open a traditional handicrafts store with his parents. Now, Zoila and Julian together continue to run the family business in Panajachel, bringing in the unique vibe of Julian’s hometown. The combination of years of professional experience and a trained eye make for an extremely curated shop. The couple have been married for over 20 years and have four beautiful children who also help out at the family store when they are done with their studies.
