Rosa is the founder of a women’s cooperative in San Juan la Laguna that uses purely natural elements to create an entirely eco-friendly collection. This artisanal knowledge has been preserved over time and has been passed down from generation to generation. Learning directly from her grandmother, these ancient techniques use local plants to dye organic cotton. Rosa works with the women of her community to uphold this traditional art form and is eager to share these pure designs with the world.
