Give Back: Cafe Loco works directly with micro-lot farmers in rural Guatemala paying a fair wage and sharing valuable new processing techniques to help farmers compete globally and have a sustainable future. A portion of their proceeds are donated back to coffee cherry pickers and their children via school supplies, clothing and facility repairs.

Doña Sebastiana’s store in located in the central artisan market in Panajachel and is now operated by her daughter, Nidia. After her mother tragically fell ill, Nidia inherited the historically well-curated family business as well as an eye for high-quality artisanal goods. Many of Sebastiana’s own designs and creations have been successfully passed down to her daughter but unfortunately some of her latest design secrets were not able to be preserved.
