Xela Huipil

Shop from Alyssa's personal Guatemalan huipil collection! Over the past 6 years Alyssa has hand-selected unique huipiles at the local markets and from our trusted artisan partners. Since her collection has grown quite large, she is opening up her closet for a few select blouses. Each huipil in her collection is 100% unique and stood out for its character and special detailing. Alyssa paid a fair wage for each garment depending on quality, size, and embroidery technique.

These pieces have all been previously worn by a Maya woman, are “pre-loved” and carry a long history. Huipiles are hand-embroidered by Maya artisans which produces one-of-a-kind variations. This makes them uniquely charming and distinct from factory-made clothing.

S/M | Final Sale | Loose threads, stains and discoloration are expected.

Give Back: Alyssa paid a fair wage for each blouse and profits from these sales will be reinvested into creating sustainable jobs for the Hiptipico artisan community.
