About the Artisan

Rosa is the local leader of a women’s cooperative that uses purely natural ingredients to create their handmade items. Passed down from her grandmother, these ancient techniques use plants to dye the real cotton fabric making Rosa's items 100% organic and environmentally friendly. Rosa has now joined with other women of the Mayan Tzu’tujil community to keep these practices alive!
