Roberto is an extremely innovative entrepreneur dedicated to the craft of shoemaking. He began constructing traditional shoes in his small village decades ago, but recently began a new venture. He took a great risk, investing his entire savings to tried something ingenious: sneakers made completely of recycled materials including a sole crafted from discarded car tires. With a long history of indigenous artisans in his family - he constructed his new sneaker design with upcycled Mayan textiles.
