Ten women in El Triunfo, an isolated community in the highlands of Sololá, Guatemala, make up the female group Sanik. Through sale of hand-woven and hand-crafted goods, they have united to support their families and preserve their culture. The women use the art of back strap weaving to express their cultural identity, create their unique clothing, and generate income for their families.
